Our goal has always been operating as a platform that impulses the new Iberoamerican cinema towards its realization and subsequent distribution.
The Co-production Meetings are two and a half days of intense meetings between the representatives of a selection of feature films in development, and the international film professionals who work with Latin American projects.
We offer a range of opportunities and collaborations, since we receive a number of producers, buyers, sellers, and others in charge of the different stages of the film production process from all over the world.

Who can apply?
Participation is free of charge.
Entries are called for fiction and documentary feature films in their development stage, with at least 20% of secured funding, and an estimated minimum length of 70 minutes.
The feature films must be created in Latin America, or they can be a co-production within the region as long as the participation is superior to the 50%
The Festival hosts two representatives of each selected project. Travel and food expenses are responsibility of the participants.

How do I apply?
The entire registration process is done on-line, and in this form, personal and professional data is requested from the representatives of the project (producer and director); as well as a dossier with specific details of the film that requiers the call-in in turn.
To participate, it is advisable to handle fluent Spanish and English, since the professionals we invite can usually communicate in either one of those two.

When and where does it take place?
The Co-production Meetings is a program of the Guadalajara Film Market, part of the Guadalajara International Film Festival that’s held annually in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco; in Mexico.
The Market is located in the heart of the Festival, right in the main lobby of the Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas, and in the entrance of our main house: CINETECA FICG.
