We call for Ibero-american series in development, to bring them closer to potential collaborators that may help take the selected projects to their next stage of production.
We offer an important range of opportunities and collaborations. We seat the projects selected face to face with industry professionals, TV broadcasters, OTT platforms, sales agents and international distributors.
Who can apply?
Producers with series in development that are Ibero-American (at a minimum of 50%)
Participation is free of charge.
The Festival hosts two representatives of each selected project. Travel and food expenses are responsibility of the participants.
What do I need to apply?
We receive proposals of fiction, animation and documentary series not filmed yet, that have an teaser of the series, at least 10% of secured financing and a dossier of the project.
Applying with a teaser is mandatory, and it should be a brief audiovisual reference that accounts for the narrative, visual, quality and / or dramatic intentions that the series would have.
How do I apply?
The entire registration process is done online, and personal and professional data of the project representatives are requested, as well as a dossier with specific details of the series, which details the call in turn. You will be asked to attach the information in both, Spanish and Englis
To participate it is essential to speak Spanish and it is advisable to be able to communicate in English.
When and where does it take place?
Episode 0: Series in Development, is a program of the Guadalajara Film Market, part of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, held annually every March in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco; in Mexico. The market is located in the heart of the festival, right in the main lobby of the Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas, and right at the entrance of our house: the CINETECA FICG.
